Does Trimoryn really work? The 1/67 and 1/28 sums on the label
Nobody has published a study of the finished Trimoryn capsule, so no one can say it works. On the label's own numbers, berberine is 15 mg against more than 1 gram a day in the research, and glucomannan is about 45 mg against 1.24 to 3.99 grams. Both are small fractions.
Does Trimoryn work?
The fair answer is that it is unknown. A claim that a product works needs a test of that product, at that amount, in people, against something to compare it with. For Trimoryn no such test has been supplied to this site. The web check that came with the seller pack on September 26, 2026 found none either.
What can be done is arithmetic. The label prints how much of each ingredient is in a capsule. The big public sources print how much of each ingredient was used when people studied it. Divide one by the other and you see how far the capsule sits from the research. That is what this page does.
A small ratio does not prove the capsule is useless. It does mean the research cannot be borrowed to support it. That is a narrower claim, and a more honest one.
How big is the berberine gap?
NCCIH has a page on berberine and weight loss. Its key sentence is that “effects on weight were seen primarily in people who took berberine in doses of more than 1 gram per day and for more than 8 weeks”. NCCIH adds that many of the studies behind this finding “had a high risk of bias”.
One gram is 1,000 mg. The Trimoryn label has 15 mg of berberine HCl. Divide 1,000 by 15 and you get about 67. So a capsule holds roughly one sixty-seventh of the daily amount linked to an effect. The label dose is also once a day for 30 days per bottle, and the research window was more than 8 weeks, which is longer than one bottle lasts.
Even the nine weighed rows added together, at 442 mg, come to less than half of 1,000 mg. And berberine is only one of the nine.
How big is the glucomannan gap?
The konjac row is 50 mg standardised to 90% glucomannan. Multiply 50 by 0.9 and you get 45 mg of glucomannan. The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements records weight-loss trials that used 1.24 to 3.99 grams a day for up to 12 weeks. It reports that glucomannan “does not have a significant effect on body weight compared to placebo”.
So the capsule holds about one twenty-eighth of the lowest trial dose and about one eighty-ninth of the highest. And those trials were negative. The gap here is not just small. It sits below a dose that itself did not work.
There is a mechanism reason too. A fibre like this works by soaking up water and forming a gel. A few tens of milligrams cannot form a gel big enough to change how full the stomach feels. That is a reasoned point, not a published finding on this product, so treat it as an explanation and not as a result.
What about the other rows on the label?
| Row | On the label | What the source reports |
|---|---|---|
| Berberine HCl | 15 mg | Weight effects seen above 1 g a day for more than 8 weeks (NCCIH) |
| Konjac fiber, 90% glucomannan | About 45 mg | Trials used 1.24 to 3.99 g a day; no significant effect on body weight (NIH ODS) |
| Alpha lipoic acid | 25 mg | Research doses are in the hundreds of mg (Memorial Sloan Kettering) |
| Turmeric, 95% curcumin | About 14 mg curcumin | Trials ran from hundreds to thousands of mg. NCCIH: not enough known to say it helps any purpose |
| Resveratrol, 20% | About 2.4 mg | A cancer-prevention trial used 1 g daily (Memorial Sloan Kettering) |
| Cinnamon bark 10:1 | 100 mg of extract | NCCIH: unclear whether it helps diabetes or weight loss |
| Probiotics | 1 billion CFU each | Effects are strain-specific, and the label names no strain (NIH ODS) |
| Prickly pear and Akkermansia | 100 mg; 1 billion CFU | No monograph found at NIH ODS, NCCIH or Memorial Sloan Kettering |
No monograph is not a bad sign. It means this site has nothing citable to say, and it will not fill the space with seller claims.
Is Trimoryn worth it?
Worth depends on what you expect. If you expect the research on berberine or konjac to apply to this capsule, the sums say it does not. If you want a clearly itemised, plant-shell capsule that you can read line by line, the label gives you that. If you want a safe way to try something for 30 days, the 60-day window helps.
Use four questions before you decide. Do I take any medicine that touches blood sugar, blood clotting or the liver? Have I spoken to my doctor about the change I want? Am I buying one bottle, not six? Will I write down my weight, sleep and drinks the same way every day for a month? Four yeses means the purchase can at least produce information.
Expect that other things you do in the same month will matter more than the capsule. Sleep, alcohol, food pattern and activity all move the scale. NCCIH also states that most supplements sold for rapid weight loss “don’t work for keeping weight off in the long term, and some are dangerous”.
Key facts
- Berberine: 15 mg on the label. NCCIH links weight effects to more than 1 gram a day for more than 8 weeks. About 1/67.
- Glucomannan: about 45 mg on the label. NIH trials used 1.24 to 3.99 grams a day for up to 12 weeks and found no significant effect. About 1/28 to 1/89.
- All 9 weighed rows together: 442 mg, less than half of one gram.
- No study of the finished Trimoryn capsule has been supplied or found.
- Two rows, prickly pear and Akkermansia muciniphila, have no monograph at the three bodies this site uses.
- Money-back window: 60 days from purchase. One bottle lasts 30 days.
- Editorial score: 2.7 out of 5. Claim accuracy 1, ingredient evidence 2.

Frequently asked questions
Does Trimoryn work?
It is unknown. No study of the finished capsule has been supplied. The label's berberine and glucomannan amounts are small fractions of the amounts used in research.
Does Trimoryn really work for weight loss?
The bottle says it supports weight management. NCCIH links berberine's weight effects to more than 1 gram a day, and the label has 15 mg. The NIH found glucomannan had no significant effect on body weight at 1.24 to 3.99 grams a day, and the label has about 45 mg.
How did you get 1/67 for berberine?
One gram is 1,000 mg. Divide 1,000 by the 15 mg on the label and you get about 67.
How did you get about 45 mg of glucomannan?
The konjac row is 50 mg standardised to 90% glucomannan. Fifty times 0.9 is 45.
Does the 442 mg total mean a strong dose?
No. The 442 mg is nine different rows added together. Most of it is mangosteen, prickly pear and cinnamon, and berberine is only 15 mg of it.
Is Trimoryn worth trying for 30 days?
That is your choice. One bottle is 30 days, the return window is 60 days from purchase, and your doctor should hear about it first if you take any medicine.
Our view
We ran two sums and both came out small. That is the main finding of this page, and we would rather state it than soften it. The label is open about its amounts, which is why the sums are possible.
The product may still suit someone who wants a simple daily capsule, who has checked with their doctor, and who accepts that the research does not back these amounts. It should not be bought on the belief that berberine or konjac studies apply to it. If you try it, treat one bottle as one test, keep notes, and decide at day 30.
